TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) -- Supporters of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his main political rival attended demonstrations at separate locations in Tehran on Tuesday amid continuing unrest and street protests over last week's presidential election.
With pro-Ahmadinejad crowds gathering at Vali Asr Square in central Tehran, Mir Hossein Moussavi urged his own supporters to cancel their plans to rally at the square following mass protests a day earlier in which seven people were reportedly killed.
Instead, his supporters gathered at a different location in Tehran, according to video footage of the rally.
The location could not be confirmed because of the restrictions imposed on foreign media Tuesday by the Iranian government.Reporters from international news outlets, including CNN, have been relegated to broadcast from their hotel rooms and offices only.

First Post

Last year I had a workshop on blogging during institute at the beginning of school. I was not very "into" it, and I did not learn anything. When Kelly asked me about coming to this workshop, I was like "UH." Then we came to the podcasting workshop last Thursday with Mr. Bob Wakeman. It was great!!! I have looked forward to the blogging workshop ever since.

I like to learn something new everyday. I also like to learn new methods to use in my classrooms. (My students never know what will happen when they enter through the doors of my classroom. I like to "keep 'em guessing.") With blogs and podcasting, we can have a lot of fun while learning at the same. Oh No!!!! learning is not supposed to be fun. Who knows what new information might actually take up residence in the junior and senior minds I teach. They might actually retain some of the information. Hands-on instruction is a very big part of my curriculum, and technology is a very big part of my students' lives. These two techniques will bring the two together, and hopefully make learning more meaningful, and dare I say it, FUN!!!
